I AM OFF TO MICHIGAN!!!

I am going to be at a conference at Calvin College and will be staying with Sarah Althaus....:) Yeah! AND there is SNOW there!!! WooHoo!!! :):)

I have 2 days of school this week... But both are going to be hard. Tomorrow I have a busy day, Tuesday is the day of prayer(no classes... but I'm getting up at 6:30am to attend to Sunrise service), Wednesday I have my General Psychology test, and Thursday morning at 2am I leave for MICHIGAN!!! I am heading up to Calvin College for a Faith and Development conference....:)yeah! I will be there until Saturday. We will probably get back here at 7am Sunday morning, which means... A LONG BUS DRIVE!!!! eesshhh. I don't know about you, but I can't sleep as well on buses as normally...oh well. And it is going to be even longer because Fiona gets married that day, so I'll be wishing I were there....:(:(:(

Got to go write my paper that is also due Wednesday..AAHH!!

6 days FIONA!!! Less than a week!!!!

Man, so yesterday one of my friends got engaged(no BFAer's know her, don't worry), today I found out that Clarence and Anna Yau are going to have a baby in July, AND Matt and Sarah's baby has been born. The news is just sweet to my ears these days. Congrats all of you! May happiness never leave you...

"Hmmm.... Hmmmm.... OUCH!!!"

Yeah, that was my evening two nights ago. I was setting up these cool speakers my dad got me and when I stuck my hand between the dresser and my bed I happened to put my hand straight into a piece of wood. I quickly pulled back and saw that I had had a piece of wood under MY NAIL!!! Yeah, and I can't even get it out, STILL!!! Of course it is my ring finger on my LEFT HAND.... and those of you who know me know I am left handed!Golly.... Life is so crazy. I just feel bad for Michael because while he was trying his hardest to pry it out I was sobbing.... Sorry Michael....:( I have had a long, hard week, and it wasn't even this experiece that has made it that way.:)... I just finished with my Anatomy test, hopefully I got a 100%. Well see I guess....

Thursday's are my favorite days! I don't have work and I finish with all my classes by 11am.:) I love them!:)

So today in Psychology we watched shows on this little girl(who is now 22) who had half on her right hemisphere of her brain taken out. It was crazy! The doctors said she will never walk, or be able to do things without help and of course, they were wrong. She has gotten straight A's in her classes and can do most things that other people can do. It is amazing what the body can handle. Thankfully this girl had this surgery when she was 6 because is she had it after about 10 her body probably wouldn't have been able to go through the changes of learning how to walk and think.

Just to give everyone a little update. Christmas Break has been very nice and relaxing. Christmas was fun, and I got some nice things. My sister even made me a blanket!:) It's so nice. I am actually ready to get back to school. Isn't that scary? Well, I am.

Ok, I have ya'lls attention.:) I am back and doing well. It doesn't feel like Christmas because, since I'm in Florida, it hasn't started snowing.... I wish it would, but I guess instead of throwing snowballs I can go down to the pool and sit.... THAT IS, once I get my bag. Hopefully it will come today. My family has been playing settlers of catan non stop, and I have actually been winning the majority of them. Yeah, at least I can play games well.:) Everything is pretty quiet around the house, nothing much really happening.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and don't waste too much money on firecrackers!!!...:)
