  • Life is so crazy... that's all I have to say.

please pray for me and my transition all over America these next week days. I will be heading back up to Georgia in the morning to take my finals Wed and then I will be heading up to Illinois for Sarah's grad. I am getting better, but I am still really tired from all the traveling and goodbyes. Oh those goodbyes, they never leave....

  • Emergency Run...

So, last night I went with Michael and his roommate to Pet Smart. Well... after being there for about an hour and then getting in the car I noticed a red bump on my stomach. It was VERY itchy. We kept driving and once we got to Taco Bell (where I was meeting my roommates for a date night, I had several bumps all across my stomach. By the time my roommates showed up, and Michael left, we went inside to eat. We were in there about 20 minutes and then I started to have trouble breathing. Yeah, I am always having problems... ask my mom..:)

Julie and Katie, my roommates, quickly grabbed our food and jumped in the car for Physicians Care. Of course when we got there it was closed. We then decided to go ahead to the Emergency Room at the hospital. We showed up only to find 50 other people packed in a room waiting for their names to be called. I couldn't believe it. I had to wait for about 20 minutes, THEN some lady "checked me out" and said, "Well, you can wait in line for a shot, but I'm warning you it's a LONG wait." I decided to skip out and Julie, Katie, and I went on our way. I got back to my room and went to bed. I woke up this morning at 10 am and went to the bathroom. I lifted up my shirt and I was COMPLETELY covered red from my neck to my legs. I was so scared.... I ran down to my friends room and she took me to the Women's Emergency Room (because it was a shorter line) and they got me in and got an IV going. I felt so much better after being there for an hour. I guess you could call me a drug addict right now.... :)

They gave me lots of benadryl and steroids. I was super sleepy and couldn't really focus on anything at the time. I am sure I said something embarrassing but I can't remember...:) You know, when you're in between sleeping and waking...yeah.. anyways, I am back home and am doing alright. I can still feel the medicine working in me because I still can't focus very well. I took a three hour nap and am still really tired. The hives are going away, but they said they would probably come back just as bad for the next week, so I just need to keep taking the medicine they prescribed for me.. So, if you can just remember to add a little prayer for me in your list. I am going into finals week on Friday and I really need to be able to focus and get things done...

On a lighter note... My beta is pregnant. Yeah, there are over 50 eggs and I am really excited. :) :):) If anyone wants to buys one off me later just let me know.

    That's all for now.

  • Well, this semester has flown by, and I only have 9 days of classes left. This past weekend I went to Oklahoma with my roommate and I got to visit her family and have Easter with them. I had a great time, but I did get sick. I am now back at school trying to recover and get back on top of things. Michael is driving me to my ortho appointment this afternoon and the weather is looking very sad. It has been raining for a while with a lot of wind! Hopefully I can get better AND maybe my braces will be coming off soon.....:)

Oh, and I wanted to remind you all to pray for the Dredges...

    love to all.. later.
